在读证明，又称注册证明信(Proof of Enrolment letter or Confirmation of Enrolment)，是确认学生在特定学期注册的官方文件。学生需要注册证明信来申请奖学金、就业、申请其他学校或办理移民等等。

一、对于北美的绝大部分学校，学生都可以通过学校的 "学生主页 "在线申请 "注册证明信"，例如 McGill, 直接登录 Log into Minerva，

二、而对于递交给移民局的官方文件，很多学校又有专门的规定，例如Seneca college要求填写表单并专门发送邮件：

If you need an Enrolment Verification letter for IRCC, do the following:

1. Download      and complete theEnrolment Verification Requestform.
2. In the      "Are you an International Student?" box, select the Graduation      Term and Conferral Date required check box.
3. Submit      the completed form to The Service Hub attheservicehub@senecacollege.causing your Seneca email account
